BCI is involved in several research activities including:

  • Small-area analysis on the effect of sociocultural factors on Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAPs) toward early detection of Breast Cancer on Women who have received Breast Cancer Education in Ghana
  • Evaluation of the Impact of a Breast Cancer awareness program in Rural Ghana: A cross-sectional survey

In a recently published research by the International Journal of Cancer on evaluating the impact of a breast cancer awareness program in Ghana, which indicated that progress has been made in recent years in improving the knowledge, attitudes, and practices towards breast cancer among women who have been exposed to BCI programs, BCI continues to explore ways to enhance its service delivery to improve health outcomes of breast cancer and increase timely and access to quality healthcare services in Ghana.
