Nationwide Flagship Breast Cancer Campaign

BCI Ghana Walk for the Cure makes the fight against cancer public. The event celebrates survivors, shares their stories, and helps to reduce the stigma and fear surrounding breast cancer. We are committed to reaching every woman in Ghana with the message that early detection is the best protection, and that education and awareness are crutial in the fight against breast cancer. The walk, now a permanent annual feature, premiered from the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi, in 2011 is repeated in other regions and district capitals and has recorded over 296, 000 people in attendance.
