Breast Care International (BCI), led by Dr. (Mrs.) Beatrice Wiafe Addai, will participate in the upcoming Global Health Catalyst Summit at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC, from June 7-9, 2024. As a member of the Global Health Catalyst Team, Dr. Addai and her team will represent BCI’s mission to enhance breast cancer awareness, screening, and treatment, particularly in low-resource settings. The summit will offer BCI an opportunity to share their impactful work, engage with global health leaders, and explore innovative solutions for cancer care. Dr. Addai’s involvement underscores the importance of international collaboration in advancing health equity and improving cancer outcomes globally. On June 7, 2024 in the evening, BCI will organise a Ghana Night event to raise funds to support the Comprehensive Cancer Centre of Excellence to built in Ghana.
Global Health Catalyst (GHC) summits are premier events dedicated to catalyzing high impact international collaborations and initiatives to eliminate health disparities in the USA and globally. The main focus of the summits is to catalyze collaborations to address the rising scourge of non-communicable diseases like cancer, mental health, pain and cardiovascular diseases which are severely impacting global health and economic development.
