Dr. Lawrencia Dsane Bawuah is a gynecologist working in the field of gynecological oncology with over
15 years experience in working in obstetrics and gynecology. She is very passionate about her work. She
has the wellbeing of the female patient at heart and dedicated to improving healthcare provision for the
less fortunate. She is also active in the field of maternal and childcare issues. As part of her clinical
practice, she also trains colleagues in acute obstetrics and operative gynecology. In her current role of
practicing general obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Dsane Bawuah has always been committed to patient
education, evidence-based practice, and the teaching of medical students and residents. With Stitching
Berekum she gives training in both obstetrics and gynecology to medical staff in Ghana. As a
gynecologist, she is affiliated with the Peace and Love hospitals where she is a consultant. Dr. Dsane
Bawuah is also involved with Breast Care International and takes part in the yearly awareness creation
programs organized by BCI. She is excited to be a board member.
