Breast Cancer Education and Screening Program at Great Glory Ministries at Tanoso near Kumasi with Partnership from Delta Air Lines

Great Glory Ministries at Tanoso was honored to host Breast Care International led by Dr. Beatrice Wiafe Addai for a breast cancer education and screening program on Sunday February 26, 2023. The event was a resounding success, with lots of people in attendance.

The program began with a presentation on breast cancer by Dr. (Mrs.) Beatrice Wiafe Addai. She discussed the risk factors for breast cancer, signs and symptoms to look out for, and the importance of early detection through regular breast cancer screening. The presentation was informative, engaging, and empowered the attendees with knowledge on how to take care of their breast health. The Question and Answer section was very interesting and interactive with several people coming forward to ask very importance questions.

After the presentation, the women were invited to undergo registration and breast cancer clinical breast examination. The screening process was led by qualified healthcare professionals from Breast Care International and Peace and Love Hospitals, and all attendees were treated with compassion and care.

The screening process was efficient, and the attendees were provided with immediate feedback on their questions. Women who needed further evaluation were referred to appropriate healthcare facilities for follow-up and further investigations.

The event was covered by local media, and the organizers were able to raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection through screening. The event also helped to dispel myths and misconceptions about breast cancer, which is still stigmatized in some communities.

Great Glory Ministries at Tanoso and Breast Care International are committed to promoting breast health and reducing the burden of breast cancer in our community. The Breast Cancer Education and Screening Program was a successful collaboration between the two organizations, and we look forward to working together in the future to continue to provide breast cancer education and screening services to the community.

Rev. Collins Kesse, Senior Pastor and Founder of Great Glory Ministries, expressed his appreciation to Dr. Beatrice Wiafe Addai, Breast Care International, the healthcare professionals, and all the attendees for their support and participation in the Breast Cancer Education and Screening Program. The man of God thanked Delta Air Lines for helping BCI to Kick Breast Cancer Out. “Together, we can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer” he added.
