About Breast Care International
Bringing hope, health and empowerment to communities across Ghana through education, screening, early detection and survivor support.

A leading breast-care voice in Africa
Breast Care International (BCI) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with the vision to be a leading breast healthcare organization in Africa, providing an enabling environment to control the incidence of breast cancer in women. BCI has, over the past twenty-two years, been conducting outreach programs for women — especially those in deprived communities of Ghana — creating the needed awareness, educating, and screening the public for breast cancer, a killer disease that destroys the lives of women in their prime. It is affiliated with the Peace and Love Hospitals.
Established in 2002, BCI is a leading breast cancer advocacy organization in Africa and globally, providing an enabling environment to enhance early detection and reduce late-stage presentation of breast cancer in Ghana.
