Peace and Love Hospital is part of the Africa Breast Cancer Screening Study (ABCS), a collaborative research initiative aimed at investigating the relationship between metabolic syndrome, the gut microbiome, and breast cancer risk among Sub-Saharan African women. This study has the potential to reduce the burden of breast cancer in Africa by advancing knowledge on breast cancer risk and survival factors.
